Airu & Toshiki Sato
Toshiki, fan du jeu Acquire, est ingénieur système à Kawasaki. Quand sa fille Airu avait 8 ans, elle a listé ses lieux favoris : combini, fleuriste, pâtisserie, librairie, restaurant de brochettes, école, bibliothèque... et a commencé à les dessiner. Le lendemain, le père et sa fille testaient le prototype qui devait devenir Happy City, nom inspiré par le slogan du maire de Kawasaki : "Construisons ensemble, la ville la plus heureuse".
Makoto Takami
After 10 years in a design company, Makoto now teaches the art of manga and illustration in Okayama. He also illustrates adverts and board games. He was inspired to create the illustrations for Happy City during a mountain run, when he observed the city in miniature once he had reached the top.
